Once again, lifting weights is the secret key to burning maximum fat and weight loss. Long distance cardio does the opposite to your body. All that cardio just burns off the muscle your body desperately needs.

The Interval Cardio training is great. Do this for 10 to 12 minutes. Go real hard when doing this type of training. Do not stay on a treadmill for 1 hour. That is simply ridiculous. When you do long term cardio, you end up burning off your muscle mass which everybody knows that the less muscle you have equals lowered metabolism. This is opposite to what you want which is fast metabolism.
I would also add onto the resistance training. Do not lift super light weights and do 30 reps. That is not effective. Life heavy weights so that you are getting 8 – 12 reps and that’s it. You can actually feel the muscles growing days later (soreness). This is a form of metabolism at it’s best that you can actually feel.

I’ve been telling folks for YEARS about weight training. You have to build muscle in order to lose weight. Cardio is great for the heart and getting your blood flowing for endurance, but when you stop running… the calories stop burning. When you build muscle, hours even days later.. you are still burning calories because the muscles in your body are repairing and growing. This is calorie burning at its best. Oh by the way…. when you build muscle… your metabolism speeds up.

…and people please stop eating all those fake foods with weight loss key words. (Low-calorie, low fat, etc) All these fake foods do is make you gain weight in the long run because they confuse your body by starving it. When you try to starve your body, your body will protect itself by eating away at your muscle tissue. As stated before, when you have less muscle tissue, it is much easier to GAIN weight.
